REM’s Sleepover Stage: A New Kind Of VTuber Concert
【COLLAB CONCERT】REM’S Sleepover Stage ➡️ 20+ VTuber Guests! #SleepoverStage

The “REM’s Sleepover Stage” concert was created through talent-led production. While REM’s no stranger to the strange, this marked her first outing serving as host. Bringing the audience to her sleepover,, she performed a slew of pop hits from around the world with a touch of anime songs alongside a grand total of 25 guest VTubers.
REM herself shaped most of the negotiations with collaborators, the stage structure, and the overall direction while Brave group US, the parent company of V4Mirai, focused on behind-the-scenes support . From securing sponsors to rolling out original merchandise, crafting this live show presented a number of challenges, but REM and her collaborators rose to the occasion.
With a wooden spoon in hand, REM starts the show with three heaters!
Rousing off a sleepy look, REM started her concert with “My Dearest” by supercell, surrounded by very REM Kanashibari decorations like clouds and sheep; This special stage lulled fans into its cozy atmosphere truly reminiscent of a sleepover.

After the first song, REM casually pulled out a mysterious wooden spoon and started using it as a microphone. Not so coincidentally, fans could get their very own REM’s Sleepover Stage wooden spoon merch!

With a mischievous grin, she asked the audience “to look forward to collaborations with 25 wonderful VTubers.” A passionate rendition of Lady Gaga’s classic “Telephone” together with guest Ekko Mori followed, enamoring fans with striking harmony.

“Otona Blue,” a defining track by Atarashii Gakko, came next with Utano Pandora, LAZULI, and Penny Puffball joining. Seeing four overseas talents sing this retro, Showa-tinged track in perfect Japanese, trading vocals back and forth without missing a beat is a real rush.
An incredible medley of anime songs and Vocaloid classics

She then performed a gauntlet of beloved anime songs and Vocaloid classics.
“Cruel Angel’s Thesis,” kikuo’s “Aishite Aishite Aishite,” “Blue Bird,” “Daddy! Daddy! Do!,” and finally “Golden,” weaved together a bouquet of both new and nostalgic favorites with a slew of international guests.
“Aishite Aishite Aishite” has been covered by REM on her channel, the cover surpassing 75,000 views on her channel, though Raki Kazuki joined for the live performance.
REM brought Norway’s own Kanna Yanagi on the sleepover stage for “Daddy! Daddy! Do!”¥
For the beloved Naruto track “Blue Bird,” Bonnie Barkswell and Ashton Marten joined for a powerful performance.
On “Golden,” REM’s own V4Mirai Lunalia genmate Yumi the Witch joined alongside Cela vann Ridian and Nana Asteria, creating a sense of a world connected by music beyond borders.
Dance numbers & cool captivating vocals~

With an upbeat shift, the show moved into dance numbers with K/DA’s “POP/STARS” and “Murder on the Dancefloor.” “POP/STARS,” featured ChromaSHIFT’s Shabel Tonya and Roca Rourin from ChromaSHIFT who helped usher in crisp chorus harmonies and an open club-floor atmosphere. Shabel Tonya’s native Korean rap had the fans cheering!
The sleepy demon chose “Your Idol” from KPOP DEMON HUNTERS next, with Isaa Corva, Miori Celesta, and Ruby Runeheart joining in for the fun. Of course the iconic “Want It That Way” by The Backstreet Boys brought down the house with PillowDear, Tomoe Carmine, and Lisa Chikafuji assisting REM with the soft-spoken, millennial anthem.

REM finished out the unforgettable evening with a soulful rendition of “Ao no Sumika,” the theme from Jujutsu Kaisen. As the end credits rolled, the words “Producer and Director: REM Kanashibari” drifted across the stage, commemorating her incredible effort.
Behind the scenes of “REM’s Sleepover Stage”

The day after the concert, she spent four hours on stream talking about the intense production process. She openly stated her head felt like it might burst from juggling the concert planning, original songs, and a new stage model all at once. Though, she expressed heartfelt gratitude that the live show succeeded thanks to her fans’ support.
REM opened up about her introversion and just reaching out to people took a whole lot of courage. That she could invite as many as 25 guest VTubers was only possible because of her community.
On the day of the event, some fans even got together in real life to “wotagei,” an idol culture cheer, to their phones for REM!

She confessed to being anxious that nothing would work out, and that even making announcements was a frightful process. That the fans truly enjoyed the live show surely helped carry her to the finish line.

REM discussed enjoying the process of creating the camera work and choreography in her own way, though she barely went outside for about a month. Over roughly five months of preparation, she researched, studied, and created the entire live experience with her own hands, producing the concert from start to finish.
The 3D stage was created by Bamfy Jifu and Rei21, adored artists who have worked with V4Mirai on previous projects.
REM handled the cameras, lighting, and other logistics herself, then streamed the event from her home setup.
She “felt like Tony Stark, building armor out of scraps in a cave.”
REM Kanashibari expressed gratitude to everyone who watched, to the many VTubers who participated, and to the companies and creators who sponsored the show, while speaking positively about using this experience as a foundation for what comes next.

Supporting and cheering on talents who take on challenges!
V4Mirai is here to start a revolution in the world of VTuber entertainment, crafting experiences that are the future of the medium.
The project has brought a multitude of 3D concerts to fruition. This concert, however, was not a show prepared by management but instead a new kind of live stage concert; One where the team provided backstage support to help REM Kanashibari produce her dream concert with her own two hands.
REM was able to take on the challenges of production and creation, learning, worrying, and pushing ahead, thanks to the support of her fans, fellow VTubers, sponsor companies, and everyone who believed in her dreams. Together, they created what became a truly “god-tier” live show.
And with this experience behind her, she is already dreaming of the next stage. What kind of dream will she share next?
Please look forward to what REM Kanashibari does from here.
